The College Marketing Director is responsible for building an overall marketing plan under the direction of the Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing, as well as managing the tactical marketing functions and project management of marketing needs of the organization. This includes developing and managing marketing strategies that aid the institution's growth. The marketing director directs and participates in promotional activities and opportunities.
The position is primarily responsible for managing and sometimes assisting with producing Crown College marketing materials and publications for the School of Arts and Sciences (traditional on-campus program) and School of Online Studies and Graduate Studies. The Director of Marketing helps ensure brand consistency for internal and external audiences. This role facilitates the workflow of marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring each project moves through the pipeline and is finished on time and within budget. Digital ads are expected to be developed, maintained, and optimized based on data.
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:
The Director of Marketing supervises the following positions:
Manage all internal and external marketing projects, hitting service agreement deadlines.
Plan, organize, and prepare a budget for new promotion efforts.
Lead the development and maintenance of the College marketing program.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data on present and prospective students.
Develop and execute new marketing strategies.
Serve as Editor-in-Chief of the College promotional magazine.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Skilled in the following strategic competencies; market analysis and company position; brand identity; competitive analysis; development and launch of new strategic advertisement; marketing communications; promotional marketing; and interactive/new media promotional applications.
Skilled in the following tactical competencies: conference exhibits; press releases; lead generation and coordination; logistical planning; web page management.
Experience in developing goals and written strategic marketing plans, as well as experience in building and implementing creative marketing programs.
Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
Strong ability to partner with internal and external partners

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business or marketing or similar discipline.
Five years of marketing experience.
Three years in college management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Business or marketing or similar discipline.
Three years experience in faith-based college/university
