Responsibilities:
The Graduate Program Data Administrator acts as the administrator and project manager for graduate recruitment and enrollment management. Focuses on service to prospective students and applicants; current student; and academic graduate programs in CSSH. Monitors admissions process and serves as first point of contact for inquires. Supports the team in providing current student services such as academic progress, enrollment support, commencement clearance, and career outcomes, among other functions. Maintains current and historical academic policies and procedures, as well as applicant and student records. Assists with special projects, as assigned.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Graduate Data Management and Student Financial Services. The position supports the team in the CSSH Graduate Office and is cross-trained among core operations and functions of the office.
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree with one to three years of experience required, preferably in higher education. Project management skills with attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and commitment to quality. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Must have experience working with databases and be willing to learn and master new programs/systems/applications. Ability to work in systems and platforms such as Banner, WordPress, Apply Yourself, Slate, and Salesforce. Proficiency in Excel including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
A professional demeanor, excellent customer service, communication skills (written and oral) and organizational skills to provide a high level of service to applicants, students, faculty, and staff. Must be detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and have the ability to be flexible and multi-task. Willingness to be flexible and to take initiative and responsibility. Ability to utilize sound judgment and maintain confidentiality. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
