Baylor Garland School of Social Work (GSSW) is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Enrollment Management Strategies & Operations. Working closely with the Director of Enrollment, Career, & Alumni Services, the Assistant Director will serve as an important member of the GSSW team, contributing to the strategic vision, executing annual plans, and representing the program transparently and collaboratively. This person's expertise will support GSSW's goal to increase enrollment and manage admissions operations by tracking and analyzing data, building effective communication plans for prospective students, and creating intentional marketing materials across multiple platforms.
A bachelor's degree and an active Christian faith are required. A master's degree and at least three years of relevant work experience are preferred. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Partner with the director to identify strategies for increasing GSSW enrollment and intentionally create recruitment plans encompassing travel, marketing, and communication.
Manage implementation of enrollment management strategy and operations for GSSW degree programs with a focus on the MSW (Waco and Online) program; Create and oversee implementation of enrollment management calendar for all GSSW partners; Align policies and procedures with Baylor partners (IT Office, Registrar, Financial Aid, Center for Global Engagement, etc.); Maintain accurate records of current enrollment management policies and procedures for GSSW.
Serve as an expert in admissions policies, procedures, and data management. Collaborate with GPE and ITS to build accurate and appropriate reports as needed across various Baylor platforms.
Oversee completion of application files for review using advanced knowledge of Banner, Slate and/or other required systems by the Graduate Admissions Coordinator.
Review complete files and make admission/rejection decisions based on evaluation of key criteria in partnership with enrollment management team; counsel admitted students regarding final enrollment decision.
Partner with the director to represent the GSSW at national professional meetings, conferences; build and track a targeted pipeline of prospective students at a national level.
Present to groups of prospective students both virtually and in-person at recruitment events and information sessions in partnership with Recruitment & Student Services Program Manager.
Work with the director to create intentional marketing materials including viewbook, program brochures, and email templates; partner with Director Marketing Communications to create a social media presence promoting all GSSW degree programs and recruitment events; maintain GSSW recruitment webpages.
Partner with the director to develop a broader array of strategies for communication and meaningful interaction with GSSW alumni.
Partner with the director to serve as liaison for third party vendors collaborating with GSSW.
