Responsibilities:

- Coordinates the Bodenheimer Fellowship applications, recommendation letters, Academic Histories, personal statements into a Committee Packet.

- Assemble and disperse packets to all committee members via electronic and hard copy

- Enters scholarship and fellowship awards in Scholarship Management program.

- Work with Associate Head regarding Fellowship nominations and offer letters. Maintain master list.

- Maintains various graduate student records via Argos, ARP, Data Central, and SAS.

- Provides statistical data such as student enrollment, demographics, credit hours, etc. (in progress) via Argos, ARP, Data Central, and SAS.

- Registers and maintains database of new International GTA requiring OPIc exam.

- Maintain all Graduate Student Files to include Admission to Candidacy form and Doctoral Appointment form.

- Work with Associate Head on GTA and GRA assignments: Eligibility, returning, graduating, converting to GRA, and ensure they have an offer letter.

- Coordinates submission of offer letters to students, EECS HR, and CGE for International students.

- Work with Associate Head to disperse important graduate student info and important dates via graduate student email blast, new graduate student orientation every fall semester, and graduate student requests regarding scheduling, requirements, transfers, etc.

- Prepares upper-division letters for students once the Undergraduate Coordinator makes a decision on their upper-division application.

- Assist students with graduate change of program process with graduate admissions.

- Corresponds with applicants to assist them in completing submission of documents via Slate.

- Reviews prospective students' college transcripts to see if they require EECS bootstrap courses.

- Coordinates and process Graduate Applications for the department (application, letters of recommendation, CV, Personal Statement and Graduate School Application).

- Reviews missing documents and tracks graduation requirements.

- Assists with qualifying exams.

- Assists students with registration issues via Banner.

- Submit Financial Verification forms for international students I-20 forms and I-20 extensions.

- 25Live (room scheduling) for reserving rooms for graduate student dissertation defense

- Answers phones and assist with front office coverage duties as assigned

- Monitor and maintain high profile/volume EECSgradinfo@utk.edu email account

- Other clerical duties as assigned.
