Job Summary: | Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Assistant Director actively manages a prospect portfolio with goals to solicit and cultivate individuals for significant annual support, primarily for the Marist Fund. The Assistant Director also works collaboratively with development colleagues to execute fundraising strategies to achieve the goals of the Marist Fund, Parents Giving Campaign, Campus Campaign, and other related campaigns. As a development team member, the assistant director will assist with development events and perform tasks supporting office goals. |

Essential Functions: | - Conduct 60-75 visits per fiscal year with alumni, parents, and friends. Identifying potential new prospects for cultivation and solicitations to increase giving and secure multi-year pledges to the Marist Fund. Annually Solicit and secure new commitments to the Marist Fund of $2.5k-$30k.
- Work collaboratively with the director of annual giving to plan and execute fundraising strategies to grow the Marist Fund, Parent Giving campaigns, young alumni, and Campus campaigns which include athletic programs, direct mail, personal solicitations, social and electronic media outreach, and recognition.
- Collaborating with advancement colleagues, promote and track reunion giving campaigns, including identifying prospects for Marist Fund solicitations.
- Work collaboratively with the director of annual giving to plan and execute all aspects of the summer student welcome receptions in, but not limited to, Long Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, and California.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the Marist Fund team; supports events and activities as a member of the alumni/development team.
- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications: | The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in annual giving or related fundraising roles in higher education. In addition, the position requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; creativity; an entrepreneurial spirit; and strong analytical and organizational skills. |

- Tuition Benefits:
- Up to 16 undergraduate credits per semester. Up to 18 graduate credit per academic calendar. Eligibility extends to employee, spouse, and dependent children under age 26.
- College pays 100% tuition only.
- Eligible dependents may be Reimbursed up to $2,000 per semester towards tuition at another accredited institution.
