This full-time, temporary staff position reports to the Human Resource Director. This position is responsible for maintaining a proactive and efficient approach to all aspects of Human Resources Payroll, including but not limited to the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources and Payroll: Process payroll semi-monthly Monitor and Audit Web Timesheet Records Monitor and follow up on training requirements Payroll journal entry Payroll/HR Filing Process new hires & rehires Assist with benefits enrollment and issues Assist with retirement plan changes
Miscellaneous: Monthly GL distribution Maintain journal entries log for Controller and file JEs Assists with the closing activities by the closing date assigned Provide support to the Human Resource Director Provide documentation and support to the auditors as directed by the Human Resource Director
Qualifications:
Associate Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) Proficient in Excel and Word Excellent organization and prioritizing Skills General understanding of Payroll and Accounting functions Capable of analytical thinking and problem-solving Minimum 1-year experience in Payroll and Accounting
