Support academic advising, including recruiting and assigning faculty academic advisors in collaboration with department chairs and/or college Deans
Provide appropriate training for new and current faculty academic advisors as well as create professional opportunities for faculty advisors
Collaborate with the Director of Academic Success in planning of advising approaches for faculty, providing one-on-one support and guidance for faculty academic advisors
Manage the major declaration process
Oversee Conclusive degree audit program including maintaining correct course data
Provide support in the fall course scheduling processes
Manage advising issues as they arise in the Registrar's office and execute problem solving strategies related to these issues in order to foster student success
Collaborate with commencement coordinator reviewing requests to graduate and examine students' records verifying all requirements for graduation
Notify students, advisers, and department chairs of any discrepancy in qualifications for graduation
Participate in graduation clearance for all seniors (verifying # of credits, major, GPA, etc.)
Serve on appropriate committees such as new student orientation, QUEST week, etc.
Support university registrar's office needs as necessary for the success of the registrar's office including participating in Bison One Stop, etc.
