Assist with distribution, retrieval and fitting or equipment and apparel for student athletes.
Record keeping of issued/returned equipment and apparel to student athletes.
Assist in all aspects of stocking and inventory of athletic equipment, apparel, and uniforms.
Oversight of equipment room student staff.
Assist in managing laundry operations for teams and staff.
Assist in maintenance and repair of all athletic equipment and apparel for safe and effective performance.
Ensure that all daily equipment and uniform needs are properly administered and provide all necessary reporting and documentation.
Day-to-day problem solving of athletic equipment issues.
Adhere to NCAA, conference, and university rules, policies and procedures.
Communicate regularly with Athletic Equipment Manager and other departmental staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to lift 50 (fifty) pounds regularly during the course of a day.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Evenings and weekends required.
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year related experience.
Additional education may substitute for experience in accordance with the JHU equivalency formula.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Familiarity with sports preferred.
Current AEMA certification preferred.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.
