Description of Work:
Under the leadership of the Director of Recruitment and Student Success, the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach will assist in identifying and implementing effective recruitment strategies, a student communications plan, outreach events and work to build and maintain solid relationships both internal and external. The Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach will be heavily involved in leading presentations about the Raikes School to prospective students and community organizations, ensuring all recruitment materials are relevant for the market and audience, and participating in various Raikes School events, career fairs, employer engagement activities, and alumni communications. Position will regularly coordinate and execute seminars, summer camps, and speaking engagements to further market and brand the Raikes School which will grow knowledge of the Raikes School to increase applications and broaden the Raikes School pipeline to identify students for admission.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience with professional recruitment, community outreach/engagement, and/or student affairs.
Professional experience developing and maintaining partnerships between educational units and/or community organizations.
Experience coordinating communications, including writing copy for print or electronic communications (such as emails, newsletters, fliers, videos, social media, website, etc.).
Experience developing and giving presentations and coordinating seminars and/or events.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in student affairs, marketing, communications, or related field.
Three or more years of experience with college recruitment and/or admissions.
Experience with recruitment technology and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Experience with managing and assessing data related to recruitment/retention initiatives.
Experience in higher education, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), and/or business-related field; or working with students in these fields.
Experience working with software systems such as PeopleSoft, MyPLAN, Canvas, and Office 365.
Ability to handle varied situations with flexibility and good judgment.
