Ensures that exam accommodations are arranged in a timely and effective manner for eligible students; and timely confirmation of those arrangements with all pertinent parties.
Assists with the hiring and training of all proctors to support the implementation of student exam accommodations.
Assists with the coordination and scheduling of proctored exams, including part-time staff workloads and hours.
Assists with the management of the physical office space and test locations, including setting up the testing sites, ordering testing equipment and supplies, as needed.
Follows-up with faculty and students regarding exam arrangements.
Prints exams, as needed, and serves as the primary exam proctor for SDS exams.
Composes, edits and disseminates day-to-day correspondence to faculty, campus stakeholders and students.
Triages email accounts and telephone calls for action pertaining to all associated work assignments. Resolves mostly routine and some complex inquiries.
Monitors the AIM Testing Module daily for coordinating testing services.
Assists students in the proper use of assistive technology and exam technology, as necessary.
Assists with the coordination logistics and communication of SDS events and programs, as necessary.
Assists with SDS events, special projects, records management activities, and the development and maintenance of departmental databases as needed.
Assists with the development of SDS policies and procedures which reflect best practices among peer institutions for testing accommodations and exam services.
Liaise and collaborates with campus stakeholders in the timely provision of accommodations for eligible students.
Assists with the management and care of computerized devices.
Prepare special reports and summaries, assists in managing daily operation of the office, and may assist in developing administrative goals and policies.
Coordinates special projects as directed by the leader. Prepares write ups for recommendations for operational and administrative problems. Prepares financial and/or administrative reports.
Performs other related work as needed.
Experience coordinating complex scheduling of 50+ services efficiently using a database to manage workflow.
Coordinating and/or scheduling support services.
Direct experience working with testing services, exam proctoring, or a related service.
Arranging accommodations, or working with and/or on behalf of individuals with disabilities.
Working in higher education disability services.
Coordinating and/or scheduling student services in an educational setting.
Experience using assistive technology.

Previous work experience in a related disability services role.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Excellent computer skills; work with wide variety of software programs including but not limited to Adobe Pro, People Soft Applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Applications, and assistive technologies.
Knowledge of disability accommodations and best practices in the provision of services to students with disabilities in a college setting.
In-depth knowledge of the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Knowledge of a wide range of disabilities including, learning disabilities.
Knowledge of best practices and innovations in the field of higher education disability services.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
Maintain good working relationships with students, faculty, staff and other constituents.
