Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in tutor subject area. Previous experience in higher education required.
Must possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrate model behavior, and foster/maintain safe environment of respect and inclusion for students, staff, faculty, and other members of the community.
Teaching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Summary of Duties: Provide tutoring to assigned students, either in-person or virtually. Assist students as necessary to help complete requirements in courses in which they are enrolled. Work with Tutoring Coordinator to resolve any issues pertaining to their schedules or student conflicts. Comply with requirements and procedures established by the Tutoring Coordinator and Student Success Center.
Tutors may be assigned to one of our four campuses: Newark, Coshocton, Pataskala, and Mount Vernon
