Position Summary
The International Recruitment Coordinator will be part of an Enrollment Services Unit, which is primarily responsible for international student recruitment. This unit consists of international admission advisors, and administrative support staff and several student assistants supporting the efforts of this team.
The International Recruitment Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Director, International Admissions Advisors, and regional in-country reps on managing mailings, office needs and supporting functional goals. This position will work closely with Slate CRM system to manage events and call campaigns.
The incumbent will handle all logistics and planning for events related to international recruitment efforts, graduate applicant inquiries and will provide general information to international applicants regarding their admission status. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring that visitors to the office are referred to the appropriate areas for support. Additionally, the International Recruitment Coordinator will respond to general inquiries in the international admissions email and refer escalated undergraduate cases to the International Admissions Adviser. This position will be responsible for importing International Recruitment areas and supporting the recruitment team in ensuring they meet CRM system requirements, in addition to supporting virtual front desk in assisting students, counselors, or parents by answering general questions related to the admissions or enrollment process.
This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, permanent/probationary position. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation. Standard SDSU work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs.
The individual hired into this role will work on campus at SDSU in San Diego.
Department Summary
Enrollment Services comprises Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, Office of the Registrar, Prospective Student Services, Out of State, Specialized and International Recruitment, and Enrollment Services Communications. Enrollment Services implements SDSU enrollment management policies and provides services to students from their initial point of interest in SDSU to their graduation.

Education and Experience
Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.
These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.

Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary upon appointment is not expected to exceed $3,681 per month.
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,681 - $6,034 per month.
