The Study Away Administrator for Global Programs position works out of the Office of Global Programs (OGP) New York office and contributes to the vision of OGP by providing a high level of student services for matriculated and non-matriculated students engaged in NYU's Global network. This role is responsible for but not limited to engaging students to study abroad by providing them with academic, career, financial aid, cultural awareness, travel planning, and personal advisement; representing and marketing NYU Global Programs to potential students at on-campus and off-campus events; cultivating relationships with students, Profiles, and college advisors to encourage a positive response and interest through participation at an NYU global academic center or campus; reviewing and evaluating students' interest, supporting the Universitys emergency response protocol, and contributing as part of the University Life & Global Programs team. This position has a flexible work schedule with prior review and approval by its supervisor based on organizational needs, including in-office and at-home work.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 2+ years
Preferred Experience: Experience working in student advising, recruitment and promotions/marketing, or student services/student life
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to communicate information clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated customer service skills Experience and comfort with video-conferencing, webinar facilitation, and online learning platforms. Solid administrative and organizational skills, proven ability to multitask Comfort with handling sensitive situations and/or people. Ability to professionally interact with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators, and solve complex interdepartmental issues Ability to promote the University and to work independently as well as part of a team. Broad understanding of academic and international programs. Ability to form relationships with key colleagues across campus. Valid US driver's license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel independently.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Time spent living, learning, or travelling internationally and experience with cultural adjustment . Valid passport.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $59,715.90 to USD $72,986.10. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
