Ensure compliance with GAAP, CAPP manual, and audit requirements. The position will supervise Business Office staff and Central Receiving/Mail Room staff. Will be responsible for financial statement schedule preparation. Serve as the Agency Risk Management and Internal Control Standards (ARMICS) Coordinator. Provides expenditure report updates to budget owners. Position will be the data owner for all student financial roles in the collegeâ™s Student Information System (SIS) and all the accounting/financial roles in the collegeâ™s Accounting Information System (AIS). Coordinate financial audits with APA. Work with AVP of Finance to prepare cash projections and needed reports.
Bachelorâ™s Degree in accounting, business administration, or general business (or equivalent) or equivalent experience and education;Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) software, specifically spreadsheets;Extensive accounting/bookkeeping experience; andPrevious experience interpreting, implementing, and administering accounting regulations.
