Summary
 Engineering Student Services at Iowa State University seeks qualified applicants for an Academic Advisor III to provide professional academic advising services regarding university procedures and degree requirements within the college to undeclared engineering students and prospective students.
The Academic Advisor III will be responsible for training college advisors for student orientation and the coordination of the student orientation experience. This position will advise undeclared engineering students. Â Additionally, the position will be responsible for teaching all sections of Engineering 101 for undeclared engineering students.
The successful candidate will have effective management and organizational skills, the ability to teach in a large classroom and work well with a diverse population. The ability to communicate effectively is essential. All staff members are expected to interact collegially and maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
