King’s College invites applicants from experienced as well as beginning level candidates for the position of Assistant Sports Information and Game Day Coordinator as a part of the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minorities and Women’s Internship Grant program. The appointment will be for the 2023-2025 academic years. The primary responsibilities include assisting the Sports Information Director in all facets of marketing and supporting the College’s varsity sports. Although previous experience is beneficial, a willingness to learn and grow in the position is essential. The candidate should have a working knowledge of the basic rules of several sports that King’s sponsors. The successful candidate will support athletic administration in all game day related functions as well as assist with planning and implementation of Monarch Mayhem, our primary fundraising event. This position will provide an opportunity to experience a multitude of job functions within a DIII department. King’s College is committed to mentoring and promoting the successful candidate for a successful career in athletics. Salary: $30,000 annually for 10 months plus housing, a partial meal plan and tuition remission for graduate classes at King’s if desired. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with a degree in communications, journalism, sport management or a related field.
