Under the direction of the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Enrollment, this role will perform the following duties:
Manages prospective student visit programs for the college including daily visits and overview tours.
Recruits, trains, and oversees the development of student recruitment hosts who are an integral part of the visit experience.
Oversees daily responsibilities of two Student Visit Coordinators
Primary administrator of the university visit/event management system in Salesforce (university customer relationship management tool (CRM)) called Blackthorn.
Assists with large recruitment event planning and supports other Prospective Student Services activities and events including National and State FFA Conventions.
Serves as the first point of contact for prospective students and their families exploring CFAES including the scheduling of college visits and requests for information.
Composes correspondence and provides support/fulfillment for mailings and email marketing campaigns.
Updates web content under direction of Director
Contributes to the planning, development, and design of college materials for recruitment, including promotional and marketing materials, invitations, written correspondence, and signage.
Communicates regularly with CFAES academic unit recruitment contacts (Academic Unit Recruitment Committee (AURC)) throughout the recruitment cycle to support college-wide conversion and yield outreach and activities.
Provides administrative support for the Prospective Student Services Team; coordinates requisitions and spend authorizations as needed; serves as a procurement card (PCard) manager and submits expense reports.
Completes special projects/assignments and other duties as assigned to support the broader mission of the Academic Programs Office
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
2-4 years of relevant experience. Highly motivated, efficient/effective in managing multiple priorities, exceptional attention to detail, and able to work independently; excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills/experience; ability to communicate with public audiences; high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of student recruitment processes/procedures in higher education; demonstrated use of variety of print and electronic media including social media; event planning and development of communication materials and website materials including updating website content using Drupal7; experience supervising student employees.
Some evening and weekend hours required.
The pay range for this job profile is $18.61 - $24.81/hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
