Anderson University’s Center for Student Success invites applications for a 12-month full-time Coordinator of Academic Success. The Coordinator of Academic Success will work specifically with the Athletic Department to ensure athletes have needed assistance available to them. In coordination with the Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services, the Coordinator will provide accessibility services for student-athletes, to include review of documentation, interactive determination of appropriate accommodations, and ensuring notification of faculty and others as requested by student. In addition, the Coordinator will work with student-athletes as requested on academic and life skills to support their student success; make academic support resources available to student-athletes;
assist with other accessibility student intakes; and prepare and send plans and maintain contact throughout the academic year.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and prior experience with academic support and/or accessibility needs of college students; master’s degree preferred. MS Office proficiency required and familiarity with Student Information and/or Learning Management Systems; ability to effectively make data-informed decisions and maintain confidentiality of student information. In addition, must be able to work effectively with a team and also independently; strong attention to detail; and strong commitment to quality relationships and Christ-like service is essential.
