NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur)
The Nanyang Business School and the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur for short), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore invites applications for one open rank tenure track position in entrepreneurship.
Requirements:
The candidate needs to have demonstrated expertise in developing and teaching entrepreneurship courses. A strong record of published research in premier management journals is essential. Appointment with tenure involves formal review.
The faculty hired for this position will be “homebased” in NBS, Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship Division (SIE). The candidate will also be a key member of the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy with primary teaching and service commitments to the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy. SIE’s faculty takes a multi-disciplinary perspectives leading to publications in premier journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. We emphasize relevance in research through engagements with industry stakeholders.
In NTU Entrepreneurship Academy, the candidate will have a unique opportunity to lead the development of new curricula and programme as well as serve as a nexus for collaboration between NTU Entrepreneurship Academy and the startup and entrepreneurship eco-system in the region. Some skills for this role include the ability to:
- Develop entrepreneurship co-curricular enrichment programmes for students
- Develop collaboration between NTU Entrepreneurship Academy, innovative startups, and the entrepreneurship eco-system
- Build an entrepreneurship mindset in the Nanyang Technological University community of students, faculty/staff, and alumni
