Housed at Tarrant County College in downtown Fort Worth, the Manager of Community College Relations will serve as the primary Division of External Operations representative at this important outreach location overseeing day-to-day operations of Tarletonâ™s floor at TCC Trinity River and related programs. In addition, the position will support off campus student enrollment initiatives and administrative duties, including but not limited to pre-advising, student engagement and success, and student and faculty communication and culture building. This role, serving as the Tarleton Operational Lead for the Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership, will also support other outreach locations specific to community college relations such as Waco, Bryan, and Tarleton Online. This is an in-office position located in Fort Worth, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday; from 9AM to 6PM or as work requirements indicate. Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
35% Community College Relations: Provides support to community college initiatives including but not limited to the Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership, TCC Dual Admissions, and the Distinguished College Partnership; Assists with communication and follow-up correspondence as needed; Works collaboratively with other division areas such as Financial Aid, Career Services, Registrar, and Advising to provide resource connections to students while promoting student recruitment efforts with TCC Transfer Centers. Helping strengthen other community college partnerships across the State of Texas is also a priority.
30% Administrative Support & Program Planning: As a member of the Division of External Operations, provides administrative support and day-to-day oversight of Tarletonâ™s floor at TCC Trinity River; Assists staff, faculty, and students with inquiries, requests, and questions related to undergraduate admissions/transfer admissions, student services, dual enrollment, Apply Texas processes, among other areas; Helps with scheduling appointments for students; and supports faculty and staff members with campus needs. In addition, assists in the preparation and execution of events; Works collaboratively and cooperatively with other student success related offices (i.e., Disability Services and Testing, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Veteranâ™s Services). Employee should exercise initiative and sound judgment in supporting leadership and staff with general administrative tasks and activities. Performs specialized tasks requiring proficiency in the use of computer and software, while maintaining a neat and orderly office and campus environment.
30% Persistence Coaching & Navigation: Once enrolled, educates students on the steps necessary to complete a certificate or degree program. Regularly meets with admitted students to guide them to and through their educational journey; Assists in retention activities of the college and serves as a resource point of contact for students, including but not limited to the oversight and execution of T3 related signature events and persistence coaching support.

Required Education and Experience
Education â“ Bachelorâ™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience â“ Five years of student support experience or related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working with community colleges and recruitment of targeted student groups.
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

The target base annual salary is $48,120 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
