The basics of this position:
The Enrollment service team represents the combination of new duties for Admission and Financial aid staff. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Services serves as the campus officer, liaison, and manager for admissions and financial assistance. The Manager of Enrollment Services provides supervision and management of the Enrollment Service Centers, Welcome desks, Counselors, student workers, and other campus staff. Working under the leadership of the District Director of Enrollment Services and closely with the Associate Directors of Enrollment Services this position will create a welcoming environment that is student focused.
What you'll do:
Monitors daily Counselor activities to ensure that every student caseload is being properly documented in Banner, CRN, and other student communication platforms. • Assist and Advise students on course selection • Directs the functions of the Enrollment Service unit to provide essential information, answer questions, counsel and provide problem resolution for all students in the areas of admissions, registration, enrollment, and student records, regarding financial aid, assessment, advising, access, career services, billing, and payment. • Advising students about financial aid eligibility, available financial aid programs; educational costs, and financial management strategies including loans, financing options, debt management and budgeting • Conduct complex conversations with students regarding Financial Aid Packaging (including verification of financial aid files, special circumstance cases, SAP appeal decisions, cost of attendance adjustments, return of Title IV funds and other adjustments to packages and awards). • Provides oversite for the functions in the Enrollment Service Center and Help desk • Works to identify and remove barriers for students during the registration process by investigation, professional judgment, and individual discretion, as appropriate; follow through on issues until resolved, providing • Responsible for district wide enrollment services team by student enrollment type • Collaborating with Advising, Testing, Campus life, Trio and other student service departments to provide a seamless registration experience for students • Identify potential training needs for staff to assist with caseload management, and processes to improve operational efficiencies and student service Works with the campus Vice President of Affairs and participates in their campus leadership meetings
Education, experience, and other requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with three (3) years of relevant full-time experience preferred but will accept an internal candidate with an Associate Degree with at least five (5) years of relevant full-time experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Banner, CRM, Admissions or Financial Aid.
