Reporting to and working closely with ACUHO-Is Senior Director of Business Operations and Chief of Staff, the Director of Learning and Professional Development will serve as a hands-on leader, facilitator, change agent, and resource for developing and implementing our strategies and commitments related to learning and professional development. The Director of Learning and Professional Development has overall operational responsibility for ACUHO-Is educational content strategy. The Director is responsible for aligning educational content and operations across the organization and ensuring compliance with applicable criteria and standards.
This position provides strategic direction, development, management, and implementation of ACUHO-Is education and professional development initiatives as well as maintains our status with the Student Affairs Credentialing Consortium. The position will lead the development and implementation of new education and programming products, including the curriculum development and enhancement of existing products in support of ACUHO-Is strategic plan. ACUHO-I is a virtual organization, operating remotely - this position may work from most states in the U.S. with travel up to 25% for this position.
Education/Experience:
Required: Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience in adult education instruction including curriculum design, coaching, and facilitation experience.
Desired: Masters degree in education or a related field and BCC certification.
Salary Range: $85,000-$114,000
This position will be located at our Columbus, OH headquarters, which is just east of the Ohio States main campus, with the opportunity for a hybrid or fully virtual work arrangement.
