The Assistant Basketball Coach is involved in all aspects of the basketball program. The coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the management and administration of all activities related to the sport; including direct supervision of offense, defense, recruiting, coaching strategies, academics, fundraising, training, and budget management.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit

Minimum Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution. Knowledge of NCAA rules/regulations with three (3) years of relative coaching experience in a college setting or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with all departments of the College, Trustees, and external constituents. Experienced with office management procedures; be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience in a college or university environment required. Position requires travel during the week and weekends.

Master’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience coaching in a collegiate setting.
