1. Operations - Work with Associate AD for Business Operations and Associate AD for External Affairs to determine Ticket Office Annual Budget. - Manage all aspects of the ticket office. - Determine staffing needs - Oversee all aspects of season and single game ticket sales. - Hire hourly and student worker staff and manage within department budget. - Supervise all ticket office staff for all athletic venue locations - Oversee ticket office software to ensure proper maintenance, upgrades, hardware and software issues are resolved and contractual obligations are fulfilled. - Work with ticket software vendor and WCU IT department to ensure software, hardware and network compatibility is functioning together to deliver best possible customer service. - Estimate and order ticket stock. - Gameday Ticket manager for all ticketed events (Football, M&W Basketball and Baseball) - Coordinate operations with visiting teams. - Ensure fulfillment process and timely completion of goals related to ticket deadlines
2. Compliance - Work with Director of Compliance to ensure all procedures related to student-athlete ticketing adhere to NCAA requirements. - Ensure that all ticket office procedures related to youth ticketing are in compliance with NCAA guidelines for prospective student-athletes.
3. Financial - Compile daily audit reporting for gross receipts and revenue tracking reports. - File final ticket audit with the athletic business office and support WCU auditing department in their annual audit of the ticket office.
4. Sales - Work with Catamount Club to maximize ticket and donor revenue. - Create timeline for ticket and information mailings. - Determine needs and work with creative services / print shop for creation and receipt of all stationary, envelopes, order form, promotional and renewal information related to athletic ticketing. - Manage promotional ticket calendar, availability and saleable inventory tracking. - Primary contact for Chancellor’s office ticket needs. - Direct and update web content for online ticket sales. - Oversee customer service initiatives, including activities such as: - Make direct sales calls to current and past ticket holders to promote ticket sales. - Make direct sales calls to a variety of individuals/groups promoting both season and individual ticket sales: this includes civic and youth organizations promoting group sales. - Working with Student Affairs to determine best student ticket delivery methods and maximize student attendance.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Evening and weekend work will be required. Some travel will be required.
