Summary of Duties:
The International Recruiter for International Programs will work remotely and play a lead role in recruiting talent from around the globe to Washington State University (WSU) system. Under the direction of the Director of International Programs Admissions & Recruitment unit this individual will develop and market strategic internationalization partnerships that increase international student enrollment. The incumbent will also host recruitment events and admitted student events in the U.S. and abroad to meet enrollment goals and decrease melt. The individual will interpret and clarify academic policies and procedures when recruiting students to WSU. They will monitor, evaluate and analyze recruitment activities in key markets using Key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of experience directly related to student services. A Master's degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience working with diverse populations inside and outside the USA.
Knowledge and experience of transfer process from community college to university.
Experience working with international students, parents, agencies, and government officials.
Knowledge of international Student and Exchange Visitor Information System.
Experience with CRM or a student database to analyze data and follow up with leads / applicants.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet annual strategic unit goals.
Able to work remotely and independently while still connected to International Programs office.
