POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Operations and Student Services through the Director of Business and Administration and supports the administrative functions within Enrollment Management. This employee will be expected to perform a number of vital roles based on the undergraduate and graduate admission cycle. This individual is responsible for the performance of advanced assignments and special projects in support of the Enrollment Management Group. Administrative work requiring initiative and independent judgment. Maintenance of confidential information while ensuring the efficient operation of the office of Enrollment Management. This role will be cross-trained to assist in all areas of enrollment management and to specifically assist the Enrollment Leadership Team with the execution of their administrative needs and initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports administrative functions of the Enrollment Management Group which includes Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Campus Events and Visit Services, Operations and Student Services, and Military and Veterans Student Services.
Supports operational and processing effectiveness for the enrollment division.
Prepares and maintains the enrollment management calendar and administrative duties associated with the enrollment management calendar.
Provides assistance and organization for the office, including, but not limited to, supply orders for all units within EMG, tracking inventory of marketing materials and submission of orders, reconciliation of budget expenses, maintenance of division tasks, and process and distribution of daily mail to EMG staff.
Serves as a liaison for the Enrollment Management Group to the Cashiers and Student Accounts office with new enrollment deposits.
Processes deposit documents and deliver deposits to cashier’s office as necessary.
Provides assistance with onboarding program for new employees, including scheduling sessions, securing space and required technology, compiling training materials.
Provides administrative support of all training sessions within EMG.
Participates in various admissions events (i.e., DUQ Days, Accepted Student Days, etc.). Some events may be held outdoors and on weekends.
Serves as a back up to the Assistant to the SVP of EMG and provides administrative support.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions or student services at the college/university level or closely related environment dealing with the public.
Prior experience as office manager, administrative assistant, or similar position. Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office Software; familiarity with Slate and Banner preferred.
Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
