The National Recruitment Manager is primarily responsible for managing many of the daily functions necessary for recruitment.
The Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the Gamecock Alumni Recruitment Network (GARNet) program. This includes maintaining an active database of alumni recruiters and providing them with regular training, communication and opportunities to get involved. The Manager will serve as the primary campus liaison for the regional recruiter teams. This includes, but is not limited to: Coordinating and managing schedules for recruiters when they are on-campus for their initial interviews, for training, and when they make subsequent trips to campus; and attending all team meetings to share campus updates.
The Manager will have a full range of admissions responsibilities, including meeting with walk-in visitors, reviewing applications for admission to UofSC and for the university's top scholarship programs, serving as liaison with other campus offices and academic units of the University, and attending both on- and off-campus events as needed. They also assist with ongoing training and assistance for all recruitment staff as needed.
The Manager will recommend changes in admissions policies and procedures to meet student needs best.
This position requires some evening and weekend work, with flexible and hybrid work schedules as permitted by office policy and needs. This position may also require moderate travel.
Will be required to travel alone in South Carolina and out-of-state for college day programs and carry boxes of brochures for use at these programs. Valid driver's license is required.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Requires a bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
