This position is in the Career & Transfer Services department within the Student Services division of our college and reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Student Services. The Program Administrator is responsible for the direct day-to-day development and oversight of services related to career, employment, and transfer. Typical Work Activities:
Provide leadership for Career & Transfer Services.
Develop relationships with students and faculty in support of the goals of Career & Transfer Services.
Build and maintain relationships with employers to improve the college's profile in the community, and increase employment exposure and opportunities for students and alumni.
Work with faculty on identifying new employer relationships and transfer opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with transfer representatives to increase access to transfer information for students.
Create and maintain a career and transfer services website to include transfer articulation, dual admissions information, job posting systems for both campus, and development of related promotional materials for events.
Plan and facilitate transfer and employment-related workshops and programs.
Execute outreach initiatives to engage students in career and transfer planning.
Plan and execute transfer and job fairs across disciplines.
Create, supervise, and maintain career and transfer programs that increase student awareness of academic planning, career understanding and development, and transfer options.
Coordinate and manage student worker placements on campus.
Work with students to create and develop cover letters, resumes, job searches, and portfolios.
Work with students to tailor individualized employment, career, and transfer plans.
Assist with advisement and registration of new and current students during peak registration times.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President of Student Services.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree.
One year of experience providing career or transfer services in a college or university.
