Job Duties:
Position will provide strategic direction and outreach, as well as coordinate and provide targeted individual support for all Non-Traditional/Post-Traditional learners during the admissions and onboarding process across a broad range of student sectors (undergraduate, transfer, graduate, online, etc.). The role involves a high level of collaboration with internal and external partners to meet aggressive enrollment goals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership 40%
· Conduct data analysis and research in order to create and refine strategies to increase the enrollment of Non-Traditional/Post-Traditional (NTPT) students in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
· Identify improvements to the policies, systems, and resources needed to best serve NTPT students and work with related campus offices to realize needed changes based on industry best practices.
· Research and advocate for the implementation of retention practices focused on NTPT students
· Develop comprehensive outreach, marketing, and recruitment programs for the University's adult degree seeking, non-degree, and certification in all delivery modalities.
· Create and coordinate strategic initiatives for increasing the number of transfer students coming from sources beyond the North Carolina Community College System.
· Serve as an engaged leader within the relevant Strategic Enrollment Management committees.
· Serve as a deputy manager and support for the Executive Director of Online Learning, Academic Outreach, and Academic Innovation (OLAOAI).
· Consistently collaborate with the Director for Undergraduate Admissions and Assistant Dean for Graduate Admissions.
· Implement and manage the Target X CRM for OLAOAI.
Student Service 40%
· Manage the proactive outreach and recruitment for ECU's Finish (Part Way Home) program.
· Serve as the ombudsman for incoming and continuing undergraduate adult, readmit, post-bac, NTPT transfer, second-degree students, and graduate students.
· Assist new NTPT students with navigating all activities related to onboarding.
· Assist with coverage of ECU's on-site offices at military installations on a regular basis.
· Serve as a key NTPT student advocate.
Coordination 20%
· Coordinate with admissions representatives and Director of Admissions Operations to refine practices to recruit NTPT students through a wide variety of activities and extensive follow up communications.
· Coordinate with Associate Director of Military Outreach regarding implementation of military recruitment strategies at key military installations in eastern North Carolina.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders (including but not limited to ECU Online) to develop a plan which includes barrier reduction strategies, goal setting, and providing a soft hand-off once NTPT students are enrolled.
· Work with members of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Graduate School to coordinate complimentary recruitment activities.
· Maintain extensive partnerships with academic units to ensure the University offers classes in the majors and formats sought by NTPT students.
· Other duties as assigned to meet the university's strategic enrollment goals.

Minimum Education/Experience:
· Post-Baccalaureate degree required; for candidates demonstrating comparable independent educational or instructional activities related to tutoring, supplemental instruction, or direction of programs that enhance educational experiences of enrolled or prospective students, will accept an undergraduate degree and 2 or more years of experience.
