Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.Duties may include:
Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
Maintaining program calendars and schedules
May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions
Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with student organization management systems and standard office software
Experience with working in a fast paced, collaboration environment while managing multiple projects
Experience working with, mentoring and supervising students within a university setting
Experience in educating diverse audiences
Experience writing, editing and developing grants, marketing materials, social media and printing
