The Director of the Student Success Center will envision, plan, supervise, and implement new and existing College initiatives focusing on career success and increased student engagement, success, and retention. This position and center will have immediate impact upon student success while expanding and closing opportunity gaps. Position Function: Partner with college and university personnel, including academic advising, transfer office, the First Year Experience program, CCIM’s living learning communities and CCIM faculty and staff to create and deliver student success initiatives focusing on personal and career success and increased student engagement, retention and graduation. Identify, collect, and analyze data on retention, graduation and other indicators to inform decision making for undergraduate programs, accreditation reporting, and to support undergraduate program improvements.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Four years of experience in position involving learner support or career development such as student programing or training and development. Experience developing and executing programming.
Minimum Other: Office computer skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Curriculum or training design, assessment of learning, working with student organizations, alumni, database skills. Experience working with faculty, administration and governance bodies.
