Position Summary: Facilitate the daily operations of Enrollment Services by providing expertise in technical areas, troubleshooting admission and registration problems for students and staff, completing special projects as assigned by the director, and support other on-going services in the Enrollment Office. Provide training and support to full and part-time enrollment staff and other college departments.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform technical support for web delivered enrollment services. Create and run Access queries and create Excel reports, provide technical support for the following systems: TargetX (Salesforce), web-based enrollment services, Ellucian Banner Student Software system, Ellucian Banner Extender scanning system, and the Diplomas on Demand system. • Utilize TargetX by designing reports, crafting email templates, sending email and/or text campaigns, and uploading data into via data integration software like Informatica. • Develop queries to ensure data integrity within Enrollment Services. • Maintain program data for the Michigan Training Connect (MiTC) • Perform the basic services of the Enrollment Office including admission, registration, residency determination, transcript production, transcript evaluation, and graduation checkout. • Create system documentation and training material. • Provide training to full and part time staff on above mentioned systems. • Prepare communications to students, college staff, college faculty, and the general public. • Regular attendance on campus is required for this position. • Resolve duplicates daily within TargetX using Cloudingo software. • Monitor Axiom (application integration software) daily to resolve errors to ensure seamless application flow. • Responsible for ensuring that all communications (text, emails, social media list) listed in the annual communication plan are executed in a timely manner, as well as documenting the results of these campaigns. • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • High School diploma or GED equivalent and 45 credit hours in related coursework and five (5) years relevant work experience OR the equivalent combination of education and work experience. • Experience with staff training. • Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. • Successful completion of a computer programing class preferred. • Experience creating and running data queries within a relational database and providing data to users from database and spreadsheet software. • Experience providing data to users from database and spreadsheet software. • Aptitude for detail work with ability to organize and prioritize workload. • Ability to fluctuate with peak work demands and high stress periods. • Ability to understand and explain institutional policy and procedures to students and staff. • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal). • Ability to analyze data in response to user questions. • Conflict resolution skills and experience.
