Job Description Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GRS), the Director of Graduate Affairs is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the Records and Graduate Services staff and all matters they oversee. The position is charged with fostering growth in student services and support, data management and acquisition, curricular changes, records policies, and successful completion of graduate degrees including oversight of the Graduate Allocation and Graduate Events budgets. The position oversees the implementation of policy and procedural changes and ensures that their implications to all constituents are considered thoughtfully and negotiated to foster positive outcomes. The incumbent will continuously advocate for graduate student health, wellness, professional development, and success through collaboration with faculty, staff, students, central administration, and GRS and CAS staff.
Required Skills A cover letter is required for consideration.
Bachelor's degree and five years of experience required with 3+ years of direct management experience; Master's degree preferred.
Experience in higher education administration is required; experience working with graduate students preferred.
Excellent organization, written and verbal communication, supervising and counseling skills required.
