Position Purpose:
This position supports the daily operations of the Division of Student Development, including the offices of the Dean of Students, Diversity and Inclusion, Residential Life & Housing, Student Engagement, New Student & Family Programs, and Student Conduct.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform basic office duties including but not limited to:
Use of Banner (student information system), including entering of data;
Collaborate with other areas of the College on special events as necessary, including student awards ceremonies;
Assist with the collection and tracking of COVID-related documentation;
Assist with projects and initiatives including, but not limited to, student awards and recognitions, community-based programs, and creating newsletters and reports as needed;
Assist students, parents, and outside constituents in finding the appropriate office/department for assistance;
Assist with budget/financial paperwork: provide necessary support to directors and the Dean, monitor budgets, follow NEC business office procedures, and compile information to prepare reports;
Assist with maintaining division-wide social media presence, including updates to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree
1-3 years’ administrative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Banner)
Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Previous experience in an educational setting
