Job Duties:
Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses within the accounting discipline.
Teaching assignment may include a full range of courses, primarily in College Accounting, Computerized Payroll Accounting, Principles of Accounting I & II, Computerized Accounting, Federal Income Taxation, and Cost Accounting.
Teaching assignment may include day, evening, weekend, and/or online courses.
Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses, maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum, and participating in College service, and professional development activities.
Leadership in developing and improving our academic our academic courses.
Community service is encouraged.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher required in Accounting, Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting or Certified Public Accountant license.
4000 hours non-teaching related work experience.
All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience at the community college level.
Experience and/or interest in using multi-media/new instructional technology in the classroom.
Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.
