College Work Study - Rosa Gogel (270 / 686-4467) Ready-to-Work - Amy Stiff (270 / 686-4556) Other Student Employment College Work Study - Under the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program, students can earn money for their education by working part-time while enrolled in school, either full or part-time. Federal Work-Study funds are limited. Employment and/or positions are not guaranteed for all those who qualify or who apply.
Ready-to-Work - RTW is designed to assist parents participating in the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP) to enroll and be successful students. The Ready-to-Work Program provides a network of support services including outreach and recruitment, education and career planning and retention strategies, tutoring, case management, advocacy, career coaching, and work study job development, placement and post-placement services. RTW participants also have access to all supportive services (such as transportation and child care) and other resources available through KCHFS/DCBS and other agencies.
NOTE: You must meet with a program coordinator for program eligibility PRIOR to completing this application. Once your eligibility has been determined, the program coordinator will provide the guidelines for completing the application process for Student Employment.
