The Swing Shift Area Maintenance Specialist is the first responder for after-hour emergencies (maintenance and custodial). They work independently and make decisions that affect our customer's living conditions and safety. Our customers are the Students, Faculty and Staff of the University of South Carolina.
The Specialist provides multi-trade skilled maintenance and repair services during emergencies and with scheduled planned work. Basic knowledge and skills in carpentry, locksmith, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing for commercial residential properties. This position is required to maintain residence halls on the Columbia campus of the University of South Carolina.

Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 3 or more years of experience.
