This position must meet established deadlines in completing specific program tasks by determining what processes, duties, or administrative tasks are priorities.

Must keep abreast of institutional, state, and federal policies required in the governing of financial aid and must be able to communicate this information in a clear, concise and knowledgeable manner.
Utilize, reconcile, and manipulate data from different sources (Banner system, institutional reports, Department of Ed websites and databases, etc.) and apply knowledge of a variety of complex processes and procedures to ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.
Administrative duties include using financial aid knowledge to resolve issues and conflicting data; entering correct information/data into the Banner system; review and resolve reports consisting of but not limited to awarding, residency, unusual enrollment, and student semester enrollment; answer basic escalations from Niner Central through Salesforce, emails, phone calls and in-person requests under the established time service guidelines.
This position provides workshops and training for groups interested in financial aid on campus (Open House, Orientation, classes, etc.) and off campus (high schools, organizations, etc.).
Provide administrative and programmatic training and updates to the OFSA staff.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or office management experience in the student services or related field; or equivalent. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and a prior year of experience in higher education.
Preferred experience in Financial Aid and customer service.
Preferred technical experience with Banner and Perceptive Content/Image Now.
Detail oriented candidates with experience with excel and/or google sheets.
