Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is seeking an innovative, student-centered, and dynamic individual with professional experience in student leadership development education and knowledge of student leadership theory and practice to be the next Assistant Director for Student Involvement & Leadership Development. Located within the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement, this position reports directly to the Director of the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement, and is responsible for developing, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating a variety of the Center's activities and events. The Assistant Director will coordinate student leadership development, provide support and advisement to student leaders and recognized student organization, and promote student success through achievement of identified student outcomes.
A Master's Degree
Five years of relevant leadership experience in higher education focused on the education and support of students
Candidates must have the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members.
