The Jeb E. Brooks School has a unique opportunity for an Assistant/ Associate Director of Inclusive Enrollment & Student Services who will serve as part of a dedicated team of higher education professionals committed to recruiting, admitting, and supporting a diverse student population.
The Assistant/ Associate Director of Inclusive Enrollment and Student Services will serve as part of a dedicated team of higher education professionals committed to recruiting, admitting, and supporting a diverse student population. Essential duties include:
- Managing the lifecycle of student engagement, including student services, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, student records, registrar functions, academic advising, degree progress, orientation, student support resources, and graduation.
- Responsible for the outreach, recruitment, retention and overall success of all Brooks School students, but ensures careful and focused attention to the needs of historically underrepresented groups in public policy, including but not limited to underrepresented minorities and first-generation college students.
- Develops and design a diversity and inclusion strategy, evaluate, assess, and benchmark existing programs, research and propose new initiatives to recruit and retain underrepresented groups and to achieve an inclusive learning environment for all.
Qualifications and Attributes:
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree and four years of progressive student service or program management experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage with and support a diverse population of students, staff, faculty, and collaborators. They have a strong motivation to make positive contributions toward the success of our students and Brooks and to provide exceptional customer service. Proven success as a member of a dynamic, fast-paced team and experience developing and executing diversity, equity, and inclusion programming. Must have proficiency with Microsoft applications, database and student record systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, ImageNow, Salesforce), Itinerary Builder, and Slate.
