Job Overview
The School of Human Services seeks to hire a Program Manager with two primary role responsibilities (1) to coordinate Health, Fitness, and Lifestyle (HFL) course offerings and (2) to facilitate experiential learning field placements (practicum and internship) for undergraduate students in the School. HFL courses are primarily activity courses focused on improving health, fitness, and skillsets related to overall wellbeing (https://cech.uc.edu/schools/human-services/undergraduate-programs/health-promotion-and-education/health-fitness-and-lifestyle.html).
The School houses undergraduate programs in Exercise Science, Public Health, Sport Administration, and Substance Abuse Counseling. This position will offer flexibility for a hybrid remote work option for applicants with a residence within the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Tri-State Area. The hybrid arrangement is 60% in office and 40% remote. Hybrid/remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Essential Functions
Plan and market HFL course offerings each semester.
Recruit and support adjunct and graduate student instructors for HFL courses.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate existing HFL course offerings and develop new offerings.
Analyze enrollment trends in HFL courses and identify opportunities for programmatic growth and sustainability.
Serve as a liaison with the Student Services Center and with faculty to approve and facilitate student registration in internship courses.
Maintain experiential learning site databases and ensure site contact information is up-to-date.
Collaborate with experiential learning faculty from each program area to evaluate internship exit data and identify new experiential learning opportunities.
Assist program faculty in planning experiential learning events such as internship showcases, lunch-and-learns, and other professional development opportunities.
Serve as point of contact for student questions regarding internship requirements and approval process.
Coordinate with College Marketing and Recruitment team to showcase student experiential learning experiences.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of relevant experience

Knowledge and professional experience relevant to one or more of the following industries: exercise science, public health, sport administration, and/or substance abuse counseling.
