Job Summary:

Essential Duties:

• Manage 5-10 student staff team that consists of graduate assistants and undergraduate students.
• Complete weekly inventory of donations received and food orders completed from Tarrant Area Food Bank, Oak Dairy Farms, and Kroger. Complete shopping of product inventory if needed based on pantry needs.
• Implement electronic case management system to track inventory and students utilizing pantry support services.
• Maintain USDA compliance of pantry cleanliness.
• Coordinate volunteers affiliated with Maverick Pantry.
• Oversee educational programming related to food insecurity.
• Promotion and development of Professional Development Closet & Cap & Gown rental program.

• Determine eligibility for emergency housing placements.
• Oversee on campus emergency housing apartments; coordinate maintenance, ensure cleaning in collaboration with facilities management.
• Coordinate placement of students in our on-campus partner property (848 Mitchell); work with 848 staff to expand the on-campus housing program.
• Purchase supplies and ensure spaces are stocked and ready for temporary student placement.

• Serve as a liaison and coordinate services between the Dean of Students Office and campus and community stakeholders, including follow up with referral sources
• Conduct a needs assessment and design and implement evaluation processes
• Assist with campus and community outreach efforts to raise awareness of and build resources to support students in need.
• Identify the network of on and off -campus services to assist students
• Provide timely communication with students in response to their application recognizing that the emergency nature of this program dictates heightened response expectations.
