Advertised Job Summary:
Director of Operations serves as a member of University Housing's core management team, and directs the operations of the housing assignments, contracting, and billing; plans, oversees and directs conference and guest housing and summer camps; insurance and emergency management; and data processing and statistical reporting functions in which there are approximately 8,500 bed spaces to include eleven apartment complexes (600 units). This is a full-time administrative position that reports to the Executive Director for University Housing. This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement/ hazardous weather and other emergencies.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide vision & leadership for housing occupancy management
Develop and evaluate policies related to housing operations
Establish and maintain vendor relationships for Residence Halls
Provide oversight and management for STARREZ
Provide the best Housing experience for our students before, during and after the Academic Year
Ideal Candidate -
Minimum of 5 years experience in Housing and student services program areas
Master's Degree in Higher education or Student Personnel Services
Ability to coordinate variety of management and administrative functions while maintaining Customer Relations with Students, Families and Campus Partners
Demonstrated Leadership experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and 6 years experience in student services program area; or bachelor's degree and 9 years related experience, or equivalent.
