Advertised Job Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions, the Manager of Student Affairs oversees the coordination of all operations, student communications, and activities of the Student Affairs Office, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. The Manager supervises the Student Affairs Coordinator, serves as a Student Success Coach and collaborates with faculty and staff across other UofSC SOMG offices. The Manager must understand Student Affairs issues from a broad perspective, actively participating in the development of new programs; identify challenges and opportunities and proactively develop and implement strategic solutions. The manager is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and programs which address student well-being, career counseling and residency application at the University of South Carolina (UofSC) School of Medicine Greenville (SOMG).
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
