The Director of Housing Operations leads and oversees all aspects of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's housing services process. The Director manages housing occupancy, oversees the housing waiver process, and responds to student/parent housing concerns. The Director develops, implements, and supervises all aspects of room selection and assignment. The Director is responsible for accurate record keeping related to room capacity, room rates, occupancy reports, housing contract and the contract release process. The Director develops, reviews, revises, and implements fair and equitable campus housing policies and procedures. The Director reports to the Dean of Student Living and Learning.

Candidate are required to have Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel Administration or closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience and leadership in residence life and housing, along with demonstrated experience in the development and management of housing including previous experience with StarRez or other college housing management systems.
