Description of Work:
As a member of the Business Career Center team, the Career Coach will serve as a career adviser to business students and support coordination of a College of Business (CoB) course within the college's Professional Enhancement Program. Provide career coaching primarily to College of Business undergraduate students, as well as graduate students and alumni, regarding academic/career decision-making, experiential learning opportunities, full-time professional job search strategies and techniques, and career/life planning. Teach CoB Professional Enhancement Program courses. Plan and deliver career-related presentations and programs to varied audiences. Develop career-related programming for students, employers, and faculty/staff. Build and maintain relationships with employers. Provide services to diverse populations including first-generation students, students with disabilities, international students, nontraditional students, students of color, students who identify as LGBTQ, student-athletes, and military-affiliated students.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Senior Career Coach will manage a small-scale program targeted to student development or employer relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Career Coach: Bachelor's degree plus one (1) year of experience working with students in a college/university or closely related setting required. A Master's degree may substitute for the experience. Experience with public speaking required. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and function in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. Must have proven proficiency with word processing, database, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software essential.
Senior Career Coach: Master's degree plus two (2) years of experience working with students in college/university career services, university recruiting, or closely related setting required. Public speaking experience necessary. Experience must demonstrate the ability to work independently and function in a fast-paced, team oriented environment essential. Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, database, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Career Coach: Master's degree in business, education, counseling, student affairs, or related field of study preferred. Experience in career/academic advising, teaching, or closely related field desirable. Experience using Canvas educational technology or other course management software helpful. Program development/management experience preferred. Demonstrated career counseling skills preferred.
Senior Career Coach: Experience in career services, teaching, or closely related field desirable. Prefer experience using Canvas or other course management software. Program development/management experience preferred. Demonstrated career counseling skills helpful.
Posted Salary: $43,000 min-Career Coach; $47,000 min-Sr. Career Coach
