Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision of the Finance/Budget Manager for Student Involvement and Leadership Development, the Fiscal Technician 2 applies extensive knowledge of the system to interact with travel coordinators and staff regarding travel arrangements. In support of Student Engagement Services, the Fiscal Tech 2 will perform a variety of complex clerical and fiscal duties, such as processing reimbursements, providing assistance with record-keeping systems, and collecting receipts and other documentation required for reconciling CTA card transactions. The Fiscal Tech 2 also provides other fiscal support for units within Student Engagement Services.
High school graduation or equivalent; one year of general clerical or fiscal experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional work experience in higher education
Strong work experience with Windows/Microsoft Office applications, web-based communication, and data base management
2 years of work experience working with WSU systems.

Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
