The Department of Africology and African American Studies at Eastern Michigan University is looking for qualified applicants to fill one full-time graduate assistant position for the 2023/24 academic year that begins in Fall, 2023.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist university faculty/staff with research-related projects or other assignments that require the advanced discipline skills of graduate students. Other departmental related duties as required. The position pays a stipend and tuition for up to 18 credit hours for the fiscal year of the appointment, along with other benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
The graduate assistant is expected to work for 20 hours a week on general AAAS instructional, research, and/or administrative-related duties-as needed.
