POSITIONGOALS
In collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Director of Recruitment, the Admissions Recruiter is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and implementing recruiting and outreach activities for Camden County College through the development of contacts with high schools, other educational institutions, county and community agencies. This position will implement special projects to promote the College, with meeting prospective students, giving campus tours, and coordinating recruitment events throughout the year across all campus locations. The Admissions Recruiter will work on assigned projects and programs related to recruitment and enrollment, as well as input, maintain, retrieve and ensure accuracy of data for reporting purposes. ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
1. Strategically plans, schedules, conducts, and leads a variety of on-campus, off-campus and virtual recruitment events including college- wide open houses on all campuses. 2. Assists prospective students through the inquiry, application, and enrollment process. 3. Develops and cultivate relationships with community partnerships to promote programs and increase enrollment. 4. Provides superior customer service to students, families, and other stakeholders through the entire admissions process during in-person, phone, email, and text interactions. 5. Collaborates with all departments and offices across all campuses to support recruitment and enrollment. 6. Provides follow-up correspondence to prospective students, teachers and guidance counselors after high school visits, college fairs, testing and registration days. 7. Conducts information sessions on-campus and off-campus involving recruitment activities such as college tours, college fairs, and school presentations. 8. Develops and maintains successful working relationships with all high school directors and supervisors of guidance, including the Camden County Guidance Directors Association, with the goal of using these sources to continually promote academic programs from Camden County College. 9. Populates, maintains, and updates applicant database with current and relative information in a timely manner. 10. Coordinates the activities of part-time recruitment staff. 11. Identifies recruitment opportunities to increase the number of minority or underserved applicants. 12. Plans and develops recruitment publications, including input for copy, illustrations, and layout of promotional material with the College Publications Management Staff. 13. Complies with all safety, fire, and smoking regulations. 14. Completes all mandatory compliance and safety training as scheduled by Human Resources. 15. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
1. Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 2. One to three years' experience in college admissions or recruitment. 3. Excellent customer service skills. 4. Strong interpersonal skills: oral and written communications. 5. Highly energetic, flexible, and motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment. 6. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, implement, follow-up and stay on track with multiple projects. 7. Availability to work a flexible schedule with occasional early morning, evening, and weekend activities. 8. Valid driver's license, insurance and personal vehicle. 9. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
