Job Description: The Episcopal School of Jacksonville is seeking applications for a Spanish Teacher on the Beaches Campus, beginning in August 2023. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, supervising lunch or carpooling, or sponsoring a club. Faculty are also responsible for communicating with parents as needed and through conferences and comments at various points during the year.
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from a four-year college or university, or postgraduate work in subject matter or education; advanced degree preferred.
- Teaching experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates new to teaching.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Demonstrate classroom management skills with a focus on student-centered learning.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency with educational software for the purposes of online teaching.
- Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with faculty, students, and parents.
